Course Information

Start your career in the nail industry with our full nail technician course. You will learn how to be able to perform all nail treatments required to have a career in nails in a professional, safe and hygienic manner. You will gain experience in carrying out a consultation with your client and an understanding of the knowledge of why this is an important part of your treatment.

You will learn about the benefits of each service, how to detect reasons the treatment may not be suitable and what to do in this instance. You will be able to give detailed aftercare, learn about the equipment used and understand the products needed to make your treatment relaxing for your client. You will leave confident in your abilities and be able to put them to the test right away.
 

This course covers :​

• Gel Polish ( Hands and Feet )

• BIAB ( builder gel )

• Gel Extensions ( Full cover tips no kit )

• Acrylic Extensions ( kit included )

• E-file

This course will take place over 6 weeks 1 day each week, you will require a new model/s for each week. Once completed you will be receive and industry approved certificate which will allow you to start working on clients.

 

By the end of this course you will have understanding of :

• Anatomy and physiology of the hand, nail and muscles.

• Health and Safety.

• How to clean your work area and tools properly.

• How prepare the nail for treatment.

• How to provide full and relaxing treatment

• How to do infills of appropriate treatments

• Safe removal of treatments

• After care advise

• Trouble shooting

• Business tips

• Social media tips

• Lifetime support

Other Information:

**Own Model Required**
You will be required to do home learning to pass a small open book theory assessment based on information leaned from our Nova Nails manual and you will also complete a practical assessment on training day with a model who you will provide.
(Model will only be required from 12.30pm – 4pm approx.)

Entry Requirements:
You and model must be 16+

No other entry requirements
