Booking & Payments

All dates are first come first served. We can only hold your name against any date for max of 24 hrs. 

If payment not received in this time frame date may be offered to another student.

Courses are only held on Sundays and Mondays other days and evenings may be available at additional cost
 
Our courses require fee to be paid in full at time of booking unless otherwise stated.

All courses must be paid via bank transfer within 24 hours of confirming course date/s.

 

Please make sure to select the correct course and date and that your details are filled in correctly.

 

Once you have paid this will place you onto the course and secures your place. 

You will then be emailed confirmation , invoice and copy of course material.

 

Any balance paid is non refundable after course manuals have been sent.

Please ensure to read all emails we send you fully, and reply to any requests we might have. Failure to provide certain information may mean we cannot carry out your course.

If there is anything you don't understand in our emails please ask.
Please insure we have the correct email address and that you are checking your emails including your junk mail.

Cancelation or Rescheduling of dates

​

As per your consumer rights you have 14 days to return any product unused and unopened.

When you book and make payment for any training course, you are wavering your cancellation rights as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations. All course fees are non refundable. You can reschedule your course once without incurring any additional charges after this will incur a fee determined by cost of full course. Any changes to dates must be done at least 72 hours before your course date less than this may not be able to reschedule. This will be at trainers digression and may incur an admin fee of £50.

Course entry requirements

It is the sole responsibility of the consumer to make all necessary inquiries with the governing body and insurance provider for their respective country in relation to accreditation/recognised qualification regarding any course. Please note that recognised accreditation varies between different countries.

Certificates

​

Our courses are accredited by ABT insurance you will be provided with a certificate on completion of your course which you can use against your insurance. Nail art workshops are not accredited but will still be provided with a certificate of completion. You must provide us with your full name as you would like it to appear on your certificate when booking, as certificates are issued on the day , any inaccuracies in spelling due to typo made by student may incur fee to have reprinted. 

Misplaced or lost certificates can be reprinted and will incur an administration fee of £10 per certificate to have re-issued. This will be laminated and posted to your preferred address.

Medical Conditions

​

Please make us aware of any serious health conditions that may affect your practical training days. All students are required to disclose any medical conditions at the time of booking, as an important part of training is to deliver and receive treatments.

Special Training Needs

​

Please make us aware of any special needs you may have in order for us to tailor the training day. Please ensure you bring along appropriate glasses/eyewear or anything else you may require for training. failure to provide this information may result in us having to reschedule your course which may incur a fee.

Course Content & Class Sizes

​

We reserve the rights to make reasonable changes and adjustments to the course content when required. Courses are usually small intimate classes but on accessions we may have to adapt this to suit the needs of the course.

All training manuals are the intellectual property of Nova Nails academy,

Any attempts to copy or resell will result in legal action.

Nova Nails Academy reserves the right to make any reasonable changes to the design, content and delivery of the course and to discontinue or merge course content at their sole discretion.

Other Information 

​

Kits are subject to availability from our outsourced supplier, in cases where kits or elements to kits are out of stock like for like equivalents will be provided.
Kits can be ordered by us separately to courses but are non-refundable whether purchases with or without a course.

For courses where you require a model the model must be sourced by consumer.
Model must be over 16 years of age be available on dates/times required and consent to having their nails did. 

They must arrive on time required and not have any product already on their nails.

If product is on there nails fee will apply to have it removed. If your model cancels it will be your sole responsibility to source another model for your course. If less than 72 hours notice is given to us that you do not have a model your course cannot go ahead and you will have to be moved to another date, we cannot guarantee how soon we will be able to rebook your course and a fee determined by full course cost will apply to move your date.
In cases where you chose not to move dates your fee will be lost.

Course dates and times may change in the event of not having enough numbers or due to other factors.
In these events we will give you as much notice as possible.

Courses may finish earlier than times shown, as these are approx.
Times and will depend on how quick we get through the course material and how quick each student learns.

All other terms and conditions / cancellation policy will be emailed to students once confirmed onto course. Please insure to reading these fully.

It is students full responsibility to read through manuals before coming to your training and to practise ahead of any practical's where practise time is required ( i.e.. Acrylic training as this is a 2 day training ) if you have not practised we may not have time to go over things again and you will be assessed as you are on your assessment day. Failing to hit certain markers may mean we cannot provide your certificate. In this case you will have the option to resist any assessments at another date within 6 months of assessment date. Fee of £50 will apply to come back and resit where we can cover areas of struggle again and resit your practical assessment.
Otherwise, you can do 3 at home models and send us photo evidence.
The evidence must clearly show a student who had a treatment you did; you must provide before and afters with a piece of paper with your name date treatment and your student reference number which educator will provide you. 
 

Our courses are accredited by ABT insurance please check with your current provider if you have one that they will also accept our certificate.
