Course Information

Start your career in the nail industry with our 1 day Pedicure course. You will learn how to be able to perform a professional Spa level Pedicure treatment in a safe and hygienic manner. You will gain experience in carrying out a consultation with your client and an understanding of the knowledge of why this is an important part of your treatment.

You will learn about the benefits of Spa Pedicure, how to detect reasons the treatment may not be suitable and what to do in this instance. You will be able to give detailed aftercare, learn about the equipment used and understand the products needed to make your treatment relaxing for your client.

 

By the end of this course you will have learned:

• Anatomy and physiology of the foot, nails and muscles.

• Health and Safety.

• How to clean your work area and tools properly.

• How prepare the feet for treatment.

• How to provide full and relaxing Spa Pedicure treatment

• How to apply gel polish to toe nails

• Safe removal of Gel Polish from toe nails.

Other Information:
You will be required to pass a small open book theory assessment based on information leaned and information from our Nova Nails Pedicure Training manual and you will also complete a practical assessment on a model who you will provide.
(Model will only be required for the 2nd half of the day from 12.30pm – 4pm approx.)

Entry Requirements:
You and model must be 16+
Gel Polish Training or industry recognised equivalent.
