Service Description

Start your career in the nail industry with our 1 day Gel Polish course. You will learn how to be able to perform a professional Gel Polish treatment in a safe and hygienic manner. You will gain experience in carrying out a consultation with your client and an understanding of the knowledge of why this is an important part of your treatment. You will learn about the benefits of Gel Polish over normal manicure, how to detect reasons the treatment may not be suitable and what to do in this instance. You will be able to give detailed aftercare, learn about the equipment used and understand the products needed to make your treatment relaxing for your client. By the end of this course you will have learned: Anatomy and physiology of the hand, nail and muscles. Health and Safety. How to clean your work area and tools properly. How prepare the nail for treatment. How to provide full and relaxing Gel Polish treatment How to do simple nail art designs (choose upto 2 that can be shown on the day) Safe removal of Gel Polish Other Information: **Own Model Required** You will be required to pass a small open book theory assessment based on information leaned and information from our Nova Nails Gel Polish Training manual and you will also complete a practical assessment on a model who you will provide. (Model will only be required for the 2nd half of the day from 12.30pm – 3pm approx.) Entry Requirements: Yourself and model must be 16+ Duration & Time 1 day 11am-3pm approx. Next Steps After receiving your Gel Polish Training certificate you can move forward in your career to Pedicure or Acrylic training.

Cancellation Policy

All booking fees are non-refundable – In the event of needing to cancel your training for any reason your course can be rescheduled 1 time to a date within 14 of original booking date. Failing to rebook or in an event of not wanting to reschedule your course your booking fee is lost completely. Any kits purchased will be available for you to pick up form the salon. If requesting to reschedule date this must be done at least 72 hours in advance of your original course date.
